Steps
1 Done | Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). |
2 Done | Line a 12x16 inch baking sheet with parchment paper. |
3 Done | In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until frothy. Add the cream of tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form. |
4 Done | Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the mixture until stiff peaks form. |

6 Done | Pour the meringue mixture into the prepared baking sheet, and spread it out evenly. |
7 Done 18-20 minutes | Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown. |
8 Done | While the meringue is baking, prepare the custard filling. In a saucepan, combine the egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. |

17 Done | Chill the roll in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving. |
